Boost Your Confidence by 30% in Just 45 Minutes Without Changing Your Life…
Would you like to increase your confidence by 30% in under 45 minutes without changing a thing about your life? That’s exactly the transformation I helped my client Lorna achieve last week. With Lorna’s permission, let’s take a closer look at our coaching session.
Self-Doubt
When Lorna didn’t hear back after the closing date of a job application, she began to question her capabilities. She is not alone in her doubts. If fact, 95% of people who responded to my LinkedIn survey reported doubting their capabilities all or some of the time. However, this self-doubt started to affect various areas of her life. As we delved deeper, we discovered that her lack of trust in her capabilities stemmed from health concerns.
In the past, Lorna had always pushed through challenges, including throwing more and more time at it to deliver results. However, due to the effects of menopause, pushing herself to the limit was no longer an option. I asked her, “If you extended the timeline for delivery, would you be capable?” Her answer was a resounding, “Yes!” The issue wasn’t her confidence in her ability but rather the pressure of the timeline. This can be practically resolved through de-prioritization, delegation, or extending deadlines.
The Myth About Confidence
There is a myth about confidence. We often believe that we need more confidence to act or feel capable. However, confidence is the by-product of taking action. What we truly need is more courage to take that action.
“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the assessment that something else is more important than fear.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt
We can all find 5 seconds of courage.
➡️ If you had 5 seconds of courage available to you right now, what would you use it for?
Do you want to experience these major transformations every single week? Talk to me about your current situation and we will assess if coaching is the best modality to help you define what you do want, and get you to where you want to be.
Keep Opening Up,
Hannah
