Insight to Action: On the cost of delayed living…
A businessman meets a fisherman resting beside his small boat.
“Why aren’t you out fishing?” Says the businessman.
“I’ve caught enough for today.” Says the fisherman.
“You should work harder, expand your fleet, build a company. Then you could sell it, make millions, and retire.” Says the businessman.
“For what purpose?” Asks the fisherman.
“Then you could relax, spend time with your family, and enjoy life.” Says the businessman.
The fisherman smiles as he already has that.

One question
Are you postponing joy, presence, and connection when they are available now?
One insight
Okay not one but four insights today 😉
- Success is self-defined
- Beware delayed living
- Growth isn’t always progress
- Simplicity is clarity, not laziness
“I’m not enough” will always push for more.
But “I am enough” asks something harder:
What actually matters?
One action
Close the gap by subtraction, not addition.
And don’t sacrifice the life you want now for a future that looks exactly the same.
Keep opening up,
Hannah
