Manifestation in an unusual way

“I think we should live in a caravan for 4 months.”

Back in January 2020, we made firm plans for our house extension. The caravan site was up in the woods only 2.3 miles from our house. I was craving the simple life. Long evenings sat on the deck watching the sunset and stars. I was ringing the site owner every few days to see if the caravan was going to be available in time.

In the end, it wasn’t.

We had a mad scramble for 2 weeks to find a rental property.  Good job we did, as only a few weeks later we were in lockdown. Can you even imagine 3 children in a caravan full time, 2 adults working from ‘home’, without internet and no washing machine!?

In its own way though, lockdown did provide me with the simple life I was craving.

• I completely overhauled the way that I work.
• We stopped the endless schedule of children’s afterschool activities.
• Daily walks became a ritual.
• We found a new rhythm to life.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s also been an incredibly challenging time too. The word I can best use to describe it…relentless.
