This week I’m in Pembrokeshire surfing with my family.
We’ve been incredibly lucky with the weather.
Think sea swims, surfboards, and games of Uno and Dobble Connect!
I’m in my happy place… water.
But I’ve got a confession to make.
Work is also my happy place.
I love it.
This week I was brought to tears listening to my wonderful client Sayema Rahman Kahn practice her founder’s speech for the launch of the South Asian Women in Higher Education Network.
It was one of those moments where I felt the ripple effect of this work.
My big-picture vision is simple:
To create a world that works for everyone.
And my mission towards that is helping STEM women create Intentional Careersâ„¢ and shift from Doer to Leaderâ„¢.
So to witness her creating change for her own community, with such courage, voice, and purpose, made my heart sing.
Because this work is never just about one person.
Every woman who finds her passion and voice, changes rooms she walks into (or creates).
